Louis is a busy little man and so his sweaters all need washed at least twice a week. They have held up exceptionally well!! He tends to get chilled so he sleep in one every night. There is no other sweater available on the market that compares to Wag the Nub (I bought many and was disappointed before Wag the Nub was recommended to me). The fit is personalized and the neck can be worn up or folded down. The reinforced harness opening is perfect as well. Being a Frenchie person, I have searched for years to find a high quality coat for my girls. The proportions were never right. Too tight across the chest, to tight around the neck, not deep enough through the girth and too long when forced to move up a size to make those parts fit.

She's a pug-mix so she isn't quite the size of a pug and  by default, most coats are built for males, which means a very chilly tummy for the ladies. I had tried everything to make up for the lack of coverage in her other coats, but nothing was quite right.Lucy's tummy was red and cold and we had to cut our walks short in the winter months.  After reading multiple raving reviews about Wag the Nub, I decided a custom option made for dogs of Lucy's type was worth the try. From the moment I placed the order to when it was received, and everything in between, the experience was fantastic. Sophie reached out to me to confirm the original size I had selected, because it didn't seem to add up with the measurements I provided and the photo I sent.  Let me tell you, she knows her stuff...  Sophie made a recommendation to change the size and confirm the measurements and with a promise that if the coat didn't fit right, she would try again until we got it right. Well... the coat arrived and it was PERFECT! I sent them a message and told him about my 14-year-old pug named DJ. He is really needing some extra love and comfort especially during this winter season coming up. They responded quickly to my message and asked for his measurements and very soon we had a package at the door. DJ was very excited to see a gorgeous royal blue fleece made just for him!
We put in on him and it fits perfectly. His back legs don’t work anymore so it’s nice that there is no Velcro or snaps on his tummy that annoy him when he’s laying down which is what he does a lot in his old age. The fleece is beautifully made and it is nice and warm. The neck collar can be rolled down when he’s eating or drinking his water or I can roll it back up while he’s resting to keep him cozy. The fleece is super soft. Dj is in love with his new fleece nubby!

Aside from the really cool company name, I liked the idea of a sweater specially made for dogs with deep chests. I followed (to a degree) the detailed instructions for measuring my Boston Terrier, Ike, who made it a challenge. I placed an order, and heard back from Sophie, who asked me if I measured according to their recommendations for the sweater length. I admitted I didn’t, and she kindly asked me to try. I found my cloth measuring tape, and corralled Ike, but the clicking sound it made sent Ike into a classic Boston Terrier bout of leaping, barking and racing around the house. Sophie patiently waited until I was able to bribe Ike into standing still with chestnut turkey stuffing while I followed Wag the Nubs’ specific instruction, which made quite a difference in size. Success! I received a beautifully made sage green fleece sweater which fits beautifully. That wouldn’t have been the case if Sophie hadn’t gently held out for the correct measurement. Great experience and beautiful sweater!"

Sophie asked me to remeasure since the numbers I sent didn’t look right and the resulting fleece sweater fit him perfectly, as little as he deserved it. I recently ordered two lightweight and one of the heaviest weight sweaters, and this time used a cloth measuring tape instead of one that makes loud clicking sounds when pulling the tape out (triggering racing around, barking and trying to bite the tape measurer) and again, received beautifully made sweaters. If you have a deep chested breed, this is the answer! As long as you can catch and measure your dog without incident according to Sophie’s directions, you will have a superb fitting, warm winter fleece for your doggies! Highly recommend the lovely company with the charming name."

He’s eternally cold in the winter, and sweaters we’ve bought from other stores have fit poorly. They’ve slid down his shoulders (as they do with Frenchies), and have actually rubbed him raw by his armpits where the fabric was pulling, causing little red sores. Not this fleece. The armpits are nice and large, allowing a great range of movement. The fleece has great stretch so it’s nice and comfy. The sweater never slides down his body, and the funnelneck stays put, keeping him nice and cozy in a little cocoon. LOVE this design. Well worth the money for a quality, well-fitting sweater. My Frenchie says “Thank you”!"
